Hiya – Chris spent the weekend working on more Tall Dwarfs stuff & hanging out with his family.
On Sunday, when we were recording, his memory & cognition struck me as improving. He wanted me to do an edit of a song loop down from 12 bars to 8 bars – not an easy thing to communicate without speech. It took a while to work out what he wanted but the result was worth the frustration and showed that his musical thinking was intact.

Fantastic news. Reminds me that when I broke my wrist,I thought I’d never play the piano again…but after much handworks excercise and going right back to playing with one finger like a child, then many piano scales later for a full year… Voila! I can play. Keep at it Chris, you’re a hero. Aroha, Joy

Sounds like small steps building on each-other.
That’s the way of progress in these things,…..so that’s cool news!
Glad you’re both working on things still. As a Doctor said to me about my son’s speech,”The brain is a wonderful thing,…and nature will take it’s course.” Of course I’m wanting fast results too,for my son and Chris. But slow and steady is what we have ,….so hang in and keep going!

Is there anywhere i can find the full track listing for the upcoming album? Also where is the best place to buy it from so Mr Knox will benefit the most…

Its encouraging to hear Chris is steadily improving.
So many folk out there love him and wish him a full recovery.

Apart from being a fan of Chris’ work, I’m also a Speech Language Pathologist who has been working in the non-speech area of communication for quite some time.
Intrigued to know if the man has been given an alternative way of communicating outside of speech. Yes, rather nosey of me, so feel free to ignore :-). There are so many options these days, think you’d have access to my email via this comment if want to talk through more.
