Very nice update. Looking forward to the record.
…man, that was hard to read. I have not had to strain like that since 1st grade.

Great post – loving the fact that Chris is so active and totally making the most of life as he always has. I’m sure it’s by no means an easy situation but all strength and power to everyone who is helping to make life as normal as possible.

Won’t try & do this in reverse, but want to offer a great chocolate icecream recipe. (Think I shouldn’t reveal its origins on an open site, even though the restaurant has since closed – can just say it involved a friend making it in restaurant-sized quantities, memorising 1 ingredient each day & then we reduced it to family-sized.) Easy to make, best I’ve ever eaten:

    Chocolate Icecream

    125 g dark chocolate
    1 cup milk
    300 ml cream
    4 egg yolks
    1 cup sugar

Melt chocolate in milk; cool for 1 hour. Whip cream. Beat egg yolks with sugar. Stir all 3 mixtures together gently. Freeze for 3 hours. (While still softish, mix again to break up crystals.)

I am a pensioner following Chris’ recovery and find some of the writings beyond me. I have trouble reading real words let alone something backwards. Didn’t even try.!
